This is what a good amount of the shore around northern lower Michigan looked like this past weekend (end of March), still beautiful, but a little chilly, and not much to see to collect, without a snow shovel. But thankfully, not all the shore looked like this. Some of the shore looked like the next picture below, so I did find a few rocks and 5 pieces of beach glass. Unusually enough, I did come across a pretty zebra mussel shell. But perhaps the real beauty of the day was a service dog we met at Burger King near the beach. Beautiful.
